Q: What makes your services stand out above the rest?
A: We have developed a business system that allows our customers to focus on doing business rather then the details of their business. We take the worry out of managing computer systems and provide the support that keeps their business running. TOP OF PAGE
|
Q: What services do you offer?
A: We offer a full range of support services ranging from Internet connectivity to desktop support and everything in between. Click the orange ball on our home page for a list of our services and the products that we support. TOP OF PAGE

Q: What are your rates?
A: The rates vary depending on what services your business requires. The rates also vary depending on whether your company is utilizing our "Support Agreement" or requires "On-Demand" support. TOP OF PAGE

Q: What is the advantage of a Support Agreement (SA)?
A: The biggest advantage of the SA is that it allows us to be proactive rather then reactive in providing support to our clients. With a SA, we will dedicate time each month to the maintenance that your computers and network require. We will also monitor your server’s daily processes from our location remotely, this allows us to catch system problems before they become a problem for you or your employees. TOP OF PAGE

Q: How do you provide "Remote Support"?
A: We begin with connecting your business to a dedicated high speed Internet connection, then we protect your network from the Internet with a (free) Firewall, next we install software on each server and PC, which allows us to control your computer’s desktop remotely. We can literally provide support in seconds by connecting with this software. Finally we set up automated processes on your servers that send error messages to us via e-mail. So if your file backup fails at 9:00 PM, an e-mail is sent to our on-call support person’s mobile phone, we then connect remotely and resolve the problem before it becomes an issue. TOP OF PAGE

Q: Why do I need a dedicated high speed Internet connection instead of multiple dial-up accounts?
A: The first reason is the lower total cost of ownership; the second is ease of support, the third is safety. With the combined price of phone lines, phone service, modems, Internet service, and time (in the form of wages). You end up spending at least twice the amount of what you would be spending on a faster dedicated Internet connection. One of our clients saves over $1000.00 per month by using a dedicated high speed Internet connection and one of the Internet Yellow Pages rather then dialing 1411 for information. With our ability to support your business remotely, we have eliminated the need for you to employ full time support personnel, we can connect to your office across the Internet just like we were sitting at your desk. You don’t have to wait hours or days for the "computer guy" to come look at your PC. We can even provide your accountant or bookkeeper with the ability to access your network remotely. When your computer is dialed in to the Internet over a phone line, there is nothing protecting your computer and your network from Hackers. With the use of a firewall we can give your office unlimited access to the Internet and block any unwanted guests from accessing your important data from outside the firewall. TOP OF PAGE

Q: What are the hardware requirements for the software that you use to connect to my computers remotely?

|
Q: What level of access do you need to be able to support my business?
A: In order for your company to fully utilize our services we will require nearly unlimited access to your PCs. Access to servers, databases and e-mail is helpful but not required. TOP OF PAGE

Q: What is a firewall?
A: A firewall is a set of related programs, located at a network gateway server that protects the resources of a private network from users from other networks. (The term also implies the security policy that is used with the programs.) An enterprise with an intranet that allows its workers access to the wider Internet installs a firewall to prevent outsiders from accessing its own private data resources and for controlling what outside resources its own users have access to. Basically, a firewall, working closely with a router program, examines each network packet to determine whether to forward it toward its destination. A firewall also includes or works with a proxy server that makes network requests on behalf of workstation users. A firewall is often installed in a specially designated computer separate from the rest of the network so that no incoming request can get directly at private network resources. TOP OF PAGE

Q: Why don't your consultants work for you full-time?
A: The answer is simple: demand. Most small business who use our services do not need a full-time support person, they need someone who has the experience to offer solutions and fix problems. Most customers do not have time to mess with calling a PC support number and waiting on hold for hours. So we employ experienced experts and specialist that have spent years in the information technology industry, this allows us to offer our customers the same level of support that large corporations enjoy... we just let the large corporations pay for their primary salary, benefits and training while we help subsidize their income. So basically your business gets large corporation experience at small business prices. TOP OF PAGE
